This is the perfect post-holiday breakfast! Leftover ham, check. Leftover rolls, check. Leftover cheese, check. Now throw it all together and pop it in the oven.
Serves: 2 (scale as needed)
Preperation Time: 10 Minutes
Bake Time: 25-30 Minutes
2 Leftover Grands Biscuits, Rolls or Bread
1/2 cup Cooked Ham
2 Large Eggs
1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese
1/4 cup Milk
Onion, Green Peppers, Mushrooms and/or Other Veggie Mix-ins
Pepper (to taste)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut or tear up bread into one inch pieces and set aside.
Cut up ham and any veggie you would like in your breakfast. Set aside.
Whisk eggs, milk, salt, pepper and any other seasonings you would like. Then, mix in veggies.
Place your bread in the egg and veggie mixture and let it soak for at least five minutes.
Stir in shredded cheese.
Grease a 8×4 inch or 9×5 inch bread loaf pan. Pour mixture into pan.
Bake 25-30 minutes until edges are lightly golden brown and the center is set. If the eggs are still runny, bake longer.
Let stand five minutes before serving.
